A book giveaway

Do you remember a couple of weeks ago I wrote about my sister, Deborah Melmon's latest book, Picnic at Camp Shalom (if you missed it you can read the post here). I wanted to let you know about a book giveaway (her new book!) on a blog she contributes to, PBJunkies. PBJunkies (which is short for Picture Book Junkies) is written by a group of professional illustrators who share their common love of children's books. This week they are giving away a copy of Picnic at Camp Shalom. In fact, the entire week is devoted to Deb's book. You can check out the blog here, and the giveaway post here. I am in need of more filing space. I have one little filing drawer that I use for my household records (my monthly records, tax receipts, medical records & that kind of thing) but I really need to add some filing space for some business records and some personal files. I have most of my records and papers in binders but there are few things that I would like to have in files. I would love to have the files in my office but there is not a lot of room. I probably have room for a tiny rolling cart ... something like this:

But while I was searching I found this:

I love this! It is a DIY project from Ready Made. You can get the instructions on how to make your own here. It made me start thinking it would be a really great thing to put in my laundry area which is just outside my office - I could have extra files out there, it wouldn't obstruct my office space and I could use the top for folding laundry.  CB2 has the file cabinets in some really great colors but this would be my choice if I didn't get white (which is always my first choice!):
