A two minute project

A couple of weeks ago, while I was home getting our taxes in order (his, mine, ours - UGH!) I had my electrician come over to take care of a few things that have needed to be fixed for a while. Just maintenance stuff ... nothing exciting. No pretty new chandelier photos ...

As he was putting back one of our switch plates he went into his bag and pulled out some new screws. He said it bugged him that the screws were not fresh and white. Hmmm.

And I started thinking about that.

Do you know you can buy switch plates that don't show any screws at all?

They come with a back plate that easily screws onto the wall ...

And then you just snap on the front piece. It is really easy.... takes less than two minutes.

These are the little details that make me smile.

I did every single one in the house. My little tangent for the day :)

I picked mine up at Lowes except for the larger ones which I got here.

Another blog friend had posted about these a few weeks ago. I'll have to put these on my to-do list. Especially because a lot of ours are "bisque" and not white. UGH! I like your pretty plants and flowers too :)
