Double blessings

My cousin's daughter is about to give birth to twin girls. They have a small apartment with two bedrooms. One of the bedrooms will be the home to the new babies and their three-year-old big sister.

So many blessings. "Double blessings" as a friend of mine would say.

My prayer for these soon-to-be-born-girls and their sister is that they will always know how loved and cherished they are; that they will understand that they are God's gift.

Oh, that we would all understand this.

“For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother’s womb.

I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made;
 your works are wonderful, I know that full well.

My frame was not hidden from you when I was made in the secret place,
 when I was woven together in the depths of the earth.

Your eyes saw my unformed body; all the days ordained for me were written in your book before one of them came to be.

How precious to me are your thoughts, God! How vast is the sum of them!

Were I to count them, they would outnumber the grains of sand …”  - Psalm 139: 13-18

Hi Sherri! How exciting -- twins. My identical girls are now 15, which is hard to believe. Twins are a blessing beyond compare. I hope that this new mom has a healthy remainder of her pregnancy and sleeps alot! The nursery is beautiful, too.
