Problems that aren't really problems ...

Working in the design world can be so much fun. But it is also a place where it is easy to get off balance and focus too much on things that in the whole scheme of life are not really going to matter in the end. Especially when things don't go as planned. Often, problems that "should" be small (or seem small to me) can feel huge to clients. Perspective can easily be lost. And emotions can run amok.

It is my job to make sure things run smoothly and that mistakes, if when they happen, get fixed. But sometimes it takes too long or it just doesn't happen the way it should. (Just like life, I think).

It is in those moments ... when patience runs thin, that the thing that is needed the most is love. Love in the form of patience.

"Love is patient, love is kind ... always perseveres."
-1 Corinthians 13: 4-7

Oh, to be able to love like that always.
"LORD, grant me more patience. And love."

"Always be humble and gentle. Be patient with each other making allowance for each other's faults because of your love."
- Ephesians 4:2

Sundays are my favorite day to read your blog. They put the truths of life in a creative and thoughtful way.

My sister and I are always giving each other "perspective checks" - I think we all need them.
Love how problems can also provide laughter.
