Snow Day

The mountain ranges where I live, even though an hours drive away, are usually obscured by smog. Most of the time I forget they are even there. But sometimes, on a clear day, after a good rain or a brisk wind, they show up like a good friend that has been there all along. And sometimes in the winter, when they are capped with snow, they are majestic. Today was one of those days and I had to share.

I took a second look when I read the words Signal Hill... here in Calgary Alberta we can see the rocky mountains from an area called Signal Hill, so funny, so cool. It is snowing like crazy here today, the driving was stupid on the way home from work...(I left 3 hours early just to be safe in the snow) Your mountains are wonderful like ours... how far a drive is it to get into them, here in 1.25 hours or so you are in the middle and almost at Banff, Alberta... Banff is a great place to visit if you are ever in Alberta.
Have a wonderful week... Regards, Carol Ann
