Girl power

I don't know when I first noticed her artwork, but from the first time I saw it, I was in love. It was the simplicity and the colors that attracted me and I loved that she painted them herself. I am talking about Jen Ramos of Made By Girl and also now, Cocoa and Hearts where she is selling her paintings.

I had purchased her 'LOVE' posters a while ago ...

But what I really wanted was one of her paintings. I had noticed them from photos of her home. I even blogged about it here.

I cannot tell you how excited I was when she decided to start selling the paintings. And how even more excited I was when mine arrived yesterday!

I went to see my niece graduate from high school today. In fact, it was graduation for both my nieces. One graduated from middle school ...

And the other from high school. They both graduated with honors. The youngest in the top 17 in her class!

The graduation from Huntington Beach High School had a fun surprise at the end:

Love that painting, loaded with luscious pinks. Reminds me of lipstick swatch tests!

Your nieces are adorable!

I love Jen's arts. She's so talented and I admire her for so many reasons.

She just made a post saying her "Love" print is on sale from$15, instead of $25! :-)

Enjoy your weekend, my friend!
