The color of Christmas?

I woke up to a blanket of snow leaves on the ground this morning ... lots of them!

We finally have our fall colors. A little late compared to the rest of the country; instead of snow on the ground we have leaves! Tons of them. In fact, today it was raining leaves! It is so beautiful.

Even the ivy on our walls are changing! I love seeing all the color outside. It is a little strange though because it looks more fitting for pumpkins and gourds than Christmas trees and twinkling lights.

Inside the house ... I put on the 'dress' slipcovers (long instead of short) and hung a simple wreath.

I love the fall leaves. It reminds me of when the children were young and we pile them up in heaps to play with. Truly does look more like fall but we are so lucky to have this weather. Have a great day!

Oh yes I LOVE our weather and waking up to such pretty blue skies lately. I can't imagine all the running around I do to try to navigate with snow on the ground! My tires roll very easily over those leaves ;.)

OMG...this is making me miss the east coast more than ever! I cannot believe this is right here in southern California. The colors are beautiful!
